Stock up on ink?
Generally speaking, bottled ink has quite a long shelf life. There is only one color that causes problems from time to time, regardless of the printer for which it was manufactured, and that is YELLOW.
Yellow ink tends to turn over after a long storage time and becomes more and more viscous over time. In the final stage it looks almost like breakfast jelly. This process is not reversible. Once your ink has gelled, it is no longer usable. But don't worry. This does not happen after a few months. It will take several years for this to happen.
This effect has not yet occurred with black, magenta and cyan. .
If larger quantities of ink are purchased, then you should calculate for safety so that the ink is used up within a year. It is better to buy more after some time.
