Druckkosten
Wer sich heutzutage einen neuen Drucker anschafft, sollte sich auch über die Druckkosten Gedanken machen. Gemeint ist damit nicht der Anschaffungspreis des Druckers, sondern die entstehenden Folgekosten. Was viele erst mit Erschrecken feststellen, wenn sie eine neue Druckerpatrone kaufen wollen, ist gezielt von den Druckerherstellern einkalkuliert. Überhöhte Druckkosten entstehen also nicht beim Kauf des Druckers sondern beim Kauf neuer Druckerpatronen.
Wie setzen sich die Druckkosten denn nun zusammen?
Hier ein paar Beispiele (dienen der Veranschaulichung):
Canon Pixma IP 4600 (Tintenstrahldrucker), Anschaffungspreis ca. 95:
- Original-Patrone schwarz: ca. 13 €
- Original-Patrone schwarz: ca. 12 €

Wie kann man hier nun Druckkosten sparen?
Am Anschaffungspreis und am Preis für Papier lässt sich nicht viel machen. Also gibt es nur die Möglichkeit, Druckkosten zu sparen, indem die Druckerpatronen durch kompatible Nachbauten ersetzt werden. Die kompatiblen Patronen sind in der Qualität genauso gut wie OEM-Ware und bieten ebenfalls eine Herstellergarantie.
Nun also die Druckkosten, wenn kompatible Patronen verwendet werden:
- Patrone schwarz: ca. 7 €
- Patrone schwarz: ca. 7 €
(immer 2 schwarze Patronen!) - Patrone cyan: ca. 7 €
- Patrone magenta: ca. 7 €
- Patrone yellow: ca. 7 €
- 500 Seiten Papier: ca. 4 €
Summe: 37 €
Deutliche Einsparmöglichkeiten also
Man kann so bei den Druckkosten bei den Patronen leicht 39,7% einsparen. Noch billiger wäre es, die Druckerpatronen selbst nachzufüllen. Das geht bei diesem Drucker ohne Probleme. Ein Refill würde die Druckkosten auf 5,47 € senken. Natürlich muss man dabei beachten, dass Nachfülltinte in größeren Mengen verkauft wird. Dieser Preis stellt somit einen Durchschnittspreis dar, der zustande kommt, wenn man über längere Zeit Patronen selbst befüllt.
Druckerhersteller verdienen ihr Geld oft mit den Patronen
Nun gibt es jedoch auch Druckerhersteller, die es durch ausgeklügelte Technologien unmöglich machen, die im Drucker verwendeten Patronen wieder zu befüllen. Ein solches Beispiel stellt der Tintenstrahldrucker DeskJet D2660 von HP dar.
Im Anschaffungspreis sehr günstig (ca. 60 €), kommt die Überraschung beim Preis von teuren Originalpatronen.
- Preis für die schwarze Patrone: ca. 12 €
- Preis für die color Patrone: ca. 14 €
- 250 Seiten Papier: ca. 2 €
Für 250 Seiten Schwarz-Weiß-Druck belaufen sich die Druckkosten auf ca. 14 €. Im Gegensatz dazu liegt man beim Canon Drucker bei ca. 9 €. Also wieder eine Ersparnis von 35 %.
Da ein Nachfüllen nicht möglich ist, kann man also nichts einsparen.
Dafür ist der Drucker natürlich günstiger. Aber man wird sehr schnell einsehen, dass sich die Druckkosten auf Dauer drastisch erhöhen.
Zusammenfassend kann also gesagt werden, dass es sich immer lohnt, sich vorher über die anfallenden Kosten für Druckerpatronen und Tinte zu informieren und im Verhältnis zum Anschaffungspreis für den Drucker zu überlegen, was sich lohnt und was nicht.
