Refill Brother LC-223, LC-225, LC-227, LC-229 cartridges by using refill tool

There is simple and clever way to refill your empty Brother LC-223, LC-225, LC-227, LC-229 inkjet cartridge. It is called vacuum refill method. Our refill tool is precisely made in Germany and matches the air port on the Brother cartridges exactly. The refill can be done without any additional drilling into the cartridge´s body and at the same time it really clean. The round connection tip of the tool is a little bit too short to reach the air port. Before You can press the round tip in the air port the handles of the tool touch the outer housing. But it is really easy to remove this front cap.

When the front cap is removed the exposed air port can be reached for refilling using the vacuum refill tool optimally. In the front cap there are two openings, in each there is a little plastic hooks that secires the front cap on the cartridge. Use a little screwdriver to press the plastic hooks towards the cartridge´s back and the cap on Your LC-223, LC-225, LC-227, LC-229 cartridge will become loose. Pull the cap from the inner tank carefully.

Vacuum refill method procedure
The refill tool´s round tip fits into exposed air port on the cartridge easily. Take the quantity of refill ink that matches Your empty cartridge into the refill syringe and mount the refill tool on the syringe. Place the empty cartridge onto the palm of Your hand. The air port is pointing towards Your fingers. Use the middle finger and the index finger to grap the tool´s handles and press the tip into the seal in the air port thoroughly.
Then carefully pull out the syringe´s plunger. Air is extracted from the inner tank and inside there negative pressure / vacuum is created. In the refill syringe you can see that air bubbles rise through the ink. Release the plunger from the upper position and it will slide back into the cartridge by itself. The refill ink from the syringe is sucked into the inner tank by the vacuum there. Do not push the plunger and press the ink into Your cartridge.

To fill the full quanitity of ink it is necessary to repeat the process a couple of times. Pull out the plunger - let it go -a let the refill ink flow into the inner tank. An advantage of holding the cartridge in Your palm while refilling it is that You can adjust the position of the LC-223, LC-225, LC-227, LC-229 easily. This supports the refill ink reaching all chambers in the inner ink tank. After the total quantity of refill ink has been filled in You can click the front cap back on the cartridge. Press the cap on the cartidge firmly, You can hear a clear clicking sound when it snaps in its place.
