Refill instruction alternative, refillable cartridges for Brother LC-900

The Fill In cartridges for Brother LC-900, LC-950 stand out due to their easy refilling in contrast to the refill of original cartridges.

You need the tools below:

  • refill syringes with needles
  • 30ml of black ink
  • 20ml of each colored ink (cyan, magenta, yellow)

Put the refillable ink cartridge on the table in front of you (pict.1). Remove the colored closing plug (pict.2). Put the plug aside for the moment, you will need it after the refill.
Draw up ink in the refill syringe. The black cartridge can hold about 30 ml of ink, the coloured ones can hold about 20 ml. These data just refer to completely empty cartridges.

Filling the alternative refillables Brother LC-900, LC-950

Insert the drawn up syringe into the filler opening (pict.3). Inject the ink into the respective cartridge. When you have refilled the cartridge, you can reinsert the closing plug again (pict.4). Your cartridges are refilled now and you can put them back into your printer.

When you have refilled the cartridges, you have to remove the colored closing plug (pict.5) When this closing plug is pulled, the pressure during the printing process is regulated. Your cartridge is ready to print again and you can put it back into your printer.
