Refill Instructions for Brother LC-900 cartridges

Please read the instructions thoroughly before refilling. Protect your workplace against staining by using paper towel or newsprint as underlay.

You need the following supplies:

  • syringes with needles
  • a small drill
  • ink for Brother LC-900 (20ml for the black cartridge, 12ml each for the colour cartridges)

Place the cartridge on the table in front of you (picture 1). Drill a small filler opening into the "e" of "Brother" on top of the cartridge (picture 2).

Refilling the Brother LC-900 cartridge:

Insert the syringe with the needle into the cartridge through the opening you just drilled. Now carefully fill in the ink (picture 3). If ink leaks from the filler opening, draw 1-2ml back into the syringe. After refilling the cartridge, you have to seal the filler opening, preferably with a drop of hot glue. Then you can reinsert the cartridge into your printer.
