Canon PGI-570, CLI-571 cartridge´s full weight and empty weight

Canon´s PGI-570 and CLI-571 original cartridges are made of a black, non-see-through material. Due to this it is not possible to estimate the right amount of ink for refilling by eyeballing the remaining amount of ink inside the cartridge. A simple and effective way to calculate the right amount for refilling is to compare the weight of the cartridge when it is full to the weight at the time of refilling. The difference between these two weights gives a good guidance how much ink to refill.
