These cartridges are recognized by the printer as EPSON cartridges and do provide ink level control. Cartridges which are refilled after reaching the status “EMPTY“ can be set back by the resetter. At the end of the reset process the LED shines RED. These cartridges are recognized by the printer as ALTERNATIVE cartridges and do provide ink level control.
Reset Epson inkjet cartridges (9 pin chips)
Use the adapter marked with "9 pins".
The LED on top of the resetter should point upwards. Insert the cartridge into the slot of the adapter, the ink outlet of the cartridge points upwards.
Press the cartridge carefully on the pins on the resetter. The LED will blink red when the contact has been established between chip and resetter.
