Octopus provides you with alternative inks for Epson 102 in proven high quality - there is no need to compromise on the quality of the prints and the longevity of the Epson EcoTank printer. The inks come from the original bottle into the internal tanks of the Epson printer models EcoTank ET-2400, ET-2700, ET-2750, ET-2751, ET-2756, ET-2800, ET-2850, ET-2851, ET-2856, ET-3700, ET-3800, ET-4750, ET-4850 and ET-4856.
The Epson EcoTank printer models have 4 separate, built-in tanks for the printer ink - this is filled into these ink reservoirs from the original bottle. The four individual tanks for black, cyan, magenta and yellow are arranged in a group on the right, front corner of the printer.
To refill Epson 102 printer inks, open the cover on the right above the ink tanks on your printer. This gives you access to the ink tank caps. Each tank is closed using a hinged mechanism with a rubber stopper attached to it. Fold the cap upwards and the tank to be filled is open.
We recommend refilling Epson 102 compatible ink using the original Epson ink bottles. This procedure is the only way to refill the new EcoTank printers. This is the only way to do this and it is also more precise and safer in terms of cleanliness when filling. Pour the desired ink color into the correct original bottle and fill the ink into the ink tank - always pay attention to the color of the cap on the ink tank - this way you can be sure that you are actually filling the right ink color into the right ink tank. To ensure the correct filling quantity, always keep an eye on the viewing window of the ink tank on the printer. This makes it easy to see the fill level and you avoid overfilling the tank. Always refill ink in good time. This prevents air bubbles from getting into the ink lines connected to the tanks. It is very time-consuming to remove these air pockets from the lines. At the same time, these air pockets can cause damage to the print heads of the connected cartridges.
