Refill Instructions for Kodak 30 C, Kodak ESP C 100
Please read the instructions thoroughly before refilling.
For refilling, you need the following supplies:
- 3 syringes with needles
- approx. 3ml each of cyan, magenta, yellow ink
- adhesive tape
- replacement chip for Kodak 30 color
Preparation:
Remove your Kodak 30 C cartridge from your printer and place it on the table in front of you. Make sure that your workplace is well protected against staining. Put the needles on the syringes and draw in ink. The picture shows you the correct colour allocation of the ink chambers.
Refilling the Kodak 30 C, Kodak ESP C 100:
The filler openings are located underneath the label on top of the cartridge. Insert the syringe into the respective filler opening (picture 2). Carefully fill the ink into the ink chamber. Observe the colour allocation shown in picture 1. If ink leaks from the opening, draw 1-2ml back into the syringe.
After refilling:
Clean the filler opening and seal it with adhesive tape. Make sure that the opening is sealed tightly. After refilling the cartridge, you have to exchange the chip that monitors the filling level of the cartridge.
Exchanging the chip:
Hold the Kodak 30 cartridge as shown in picture 3 and push down the lever. Then carefully remove the chip and replace it with the new one. Please make sure to insert the chip in the right direction (picture 4). Your Kodak 30 cartridge is now ready to print, and you can reinsert it into your printer.
