Instructions for the Vacuum-Refill adaptor BroLuer
The BroLuer is a Refill-adaptor that works with vacuum-method. It is especially developed for the new Brother cartridges. It was tested on over 1000 Brother cartridges so you can trust it. It works.
The BroLuer works for the following Brother cartridges:
The following amounts for ink refer to the original cartridges. Of course this amount can only be filled in when the cartridge is completely empty. You can also use the BroLuer to remove the ink that is left inside the cartridge (see point 4).

Despite its simple construction you should consider a few details during the use. Therefore we recommend reading these instructions thoroughly and start refilling afterwards.
Preparations before getting started:
Take the included Luerlock Refill syringe and draw in the amount of ink that you need. Than screw the BroLuer onto the syringe (see picture 1).
Now put the syringe with BroLuer onto the air balance opening. It is placed at the upper part of the cartridge. Please do not confuse it with the ink outlet.
Take the cartridge as shown in picture 3 and press the syringe firmly onto the Brother cartridge. The two endings of the BroLuer work as grasp.
Draw the plunger of the syringe up. You should feel a distinct resistance. Only by this you have created a vacuum. If there is no resistance press the BroLuer firmly onto the cartridge.
It is possible that there is ink left inside the cartridge before refilling. With the BroLuer you can remove this ink easily. In order to do that press the syringe with the BroLuer firmly onto the cartridge and turn the whole thing vertically so that you pull the plunger downwards. With the resulting vacuum the ink gets soaked out of the cartridge.
Release the plunger. Because of the vacuum inside the cartridge the ink gets soaked into the cartridge. Repeat this procedure until air bubbles no longer come out of the cartridge when pulling the plunger up. Your cartridge is now completely refilled.
