Refill Instruction for Canon LBP-7750, HP CP3525, CE 250 A, CE 250 X, CE 251 A, CE 252 A, CE 253 A

While filling toner cartridges we generally recommend our customers to wear latex gloves, so the drum unit won´t get damaged. Furthermore, it is suggusted to wear a fine particle mask while filling the drum unit. Please read this instruction carefully before you start refilling.

Preparation for refilling:

Put the toner cartridge (as shown in picture 1) on the table. At first, you have to remove the small spring of the cartridge. The cartridge consists of 2 diverse cartridge halves. These are connected by a full floating axle. You have to pull it out to seperate the halves from each other.

As the axles are not exposed yet, you have to expose them in the next step (picture 2, 3, 4 and 5). For that purpose, you have to cut the synthetic coating with a cutter. The full floating axles are now exposed and can be extracted within the next working step.

Now, you have to drill the synthetic body at the back of the cartridge for sliding out the full floating axles (pictures 6, 7, 8 and 9). Through the drilling, the axles are automatically pushed outwards, so you just have to take the axles off with a tongs (picture 10).

Subsequently, you can separate the halves of the cartridge (picture 11). For the filling, you need the upper half (the half without the drum kit). Now you have to melt a filler opening on the marked position (as seen in picture 12) with the help of a soldering iron. Before refilling the toner cartridge, you should pour out the rest of the toner powder or exhaust it with an aspirator for toner powders.

Take the toner bottle and screw the funnel on it. This will simplify the refilling. Fill the new toner powder into the cartridge. Through tilting back the cartridge during the filling, you can put in the given amount of toner powder.  When you haved refilled the toner cartridge HP CP 3525, you just have close the filler opening with fabric adhesive tape.

ATTENTION: The filler opening has to be absolutely leak-free. Through patting on a white piece of paper, you can check the impermeability. There should not trickle any toner out of the opening.

Reassembling the toner cartridge HP CP 325, Canon LBP-7750

After you have refilled the cartridge, you can reassamble the toner cartridge. Just do the same pre-described procedure backwards. Please note that everything can be put together easily and without using any force.

Instruction for exchanging the chip of the toner cartridge HP CP 325, Canon LBP-7750:

As the toner cartridge is equipped with a toner chip, you have to exchange it after each filling (picture 13). The toner chip checks the filling level of the toner powder. For replacing the chip, you have to cut in the small guide rail and pull out the toner chip carefully. Put the new chip back into the guide rail in the same direction as the released one. Now you can put the toner cartridge back into your printer. The first print-outs may be of improper quality, because the toner powder has to dispense again. Afterwards, print-outs should be of usual quality.

Safety instructions for the handling of refill toners

Refill toner and toner powder may cause serious health problems if not handled carefully. We recommend always using breathing protection or suction chambers while filling toner cartridges. Furthermore, toner powder and refill toner can be highly flammable with an appropriate oxygen mixture.  Please note as well, that you should touch the photoconductor drum in no case or expose it to direct sunlight. This could lead to faulty print-outs. Octopus Office will not take any responsibility for success or failure of the described procedure.
