    Octopus Fluids Sheen Inks

    Get ready for an almost magical writing experience! The Octopus Fluids Sheen collection offers you a range of enchanting inks with a very special two-tone effect. Each ink is inspired by a mythical creature, be it the fairytale Unicorn, the mysterious Medusa, the enigmatic Djinn or the shy Sea Serpent. The colours of these inks are as magical as their names:

    They change depending on the angle of view and the paper. A metallic sheen in shades of copper, gold or pink overlays the base colour of the ink, creating a visual symphony of colour.

    The sheen depends on the paper and writing instrument you use, and you will experience different levels of sheen. The mesmerising effect works best on smooth, non-absorbent paper. Wherever your writing instrument releases a lot of ink, the metallic sheen is created.
    To enjoy the sheen effect in all its splendour, we recommend high-quality, non-absorbent writing paper and fountain pens with a generous ink flow and a broad nib. The effect is particularly striking when writing with a glass nib, calligraphy fountain pen or refillable brush pen. Use absorbent paper to bring out only the base colour without shine.

    The inks are water-soluble and, due to their composition, dry more slowly than conventional inks. Only vegan ingredients are used in the production of Sheen Inks.

    Die Tinte ist gut für einen entschleunigten Alltag

    Ich habe diese Tinte letztes Jahr zu Weihnachten von meiner Schwester bekommen und nutze sie in einem Füller, der mit einer LAMY M - Feder vergleichbar ist. Im Vergleich zu einer Pelikan 9001 fühlt sich die Tinte etwas flüssiger an und braucht einen Moment länger zum Trocknen. Der Schein kommt in erster Linie auf dickerem Papier gut zur Geltung, wenn die Tinte nicht einzieht (und ausblutet). Mit dünneren Federn kann man auch auf dünnerem Papier gut schreiben.

    Ich mag das subtile Schimmern und habe das Tintenfass jetzt fast aufgeschrieben. Ich bin gespannt noch andere Tinten auszuprobieren, diese zählt aber zu einer meiner Liebsten:

    TLDR:
    - Tinte braucht etwas Zeit zum trocken.
    - Tinte blutet gerne aus, wenn das Papier nicht geeignet ist.
    - Trotzdem eine meiner "everyday" Tinten, da mir der Schein gefällt und ich die passenden Notizbücher habe.
