Octopus Fluids Resin Inks are fast-drying alcohol-based colour concentrates specially developed for colouring epoxy resin, UV resin, acrylic resin, polyester resin and other casting resin systems. They are extremely economical and give the resin an intense colouring without affecting the transparency of the material. Thanks to their extremely high yield, our resin colours have no influence on the mixing ratio of two-component resin and thus ensure safe curing of the workpiece.
Octopus Fluids Resin Inks can be used to colour all common brands of casting resins. We recommend that you follow the mixing ratios of the manufacturers.

Compared to our series of alcohol inks, which were especially developed for alcohol ink painting, the dye content in the resin inks is about 5 times higher, which allows an even stronger colouring of the epoxy resin. The flow properties of the resin inks have also been optimised for use in resin. The dyes spread less strongly on the surface of the resin and thus allow the resin artist to work more precisely.

Unlike conventional alcohol inks, the formulation of our resin inks has been adapted so that known problems with epoxy resin dyeing no longer occur. Thus, the 35 different colours remain true to their original colour even after mixing and drying. In addition, our resin ink series does not show any brown tint after application in the resin. This makes the colours also excellent for the production of cast resin jewellery and decorative items like coaster or petri dish art. All colours can be combined with each other without any problems.

Due to their high colour intensity and improved flow properties, you can use our colours for a wide variety of projects and works of art. Even thicker epoxy resin layers, such as those created when working on table tops (river table), can be coloured without any problems. However, as is usual with paints that do not rely on pigments as colouring agents, long-term use in direct sunLIGHT should be avoided.
