    Purified water is particularly used for the cleaning of printheads as well as the inner part of a cartridge. Cartridges equipped with a sponge can be cleaned easily by means of purified water without any concerns. You only fill some purified water into the cartridge/sponge and then take advantage of a centrifuge/separator to get the used liquid out.

    For your information: Purified water is not only a distillate. Because of a special treatment this water has qualities, that go beyond the ones of distilled water. It does not contain any organic components, it is de-mineralized and de-ionized.
